Allison Domicone

Allison graduated in 2008 from the University of San Francisco with a degree in International Studies and French. Her extensive travels have exposed her to the wider world and have given her a new lens by which to see. Allison grew up in the church and participated in many mission and outreach ventures, one of her favorites being to Tijuana, Mexico, as part of a house-building team. She values the opportunities and community the church provides, and believes it should serve as a foundation for seeing things in a broader way and for advocating social justice and change. She is passionate about global human rights and situations such as the current crisis in Darfur, and has spoken out to raise awareness and support for those who are in dire need.  Allison has always loved working with children and youth, and finds the opportunity to teach and lead them extremely rewarding (and fun!). Currently, Allison  works for Creative Commons in San Francisco.  She is also connected with Akili Dada, an international non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentoring activities to underprivileged girls in Kenya.
