Pastors Tim & Chamie Delkeskamp or the Raising Micah Core Team can assist you through any of the following:
Help you start a Raising Micah group in your church or community... or help you with your family ministry. We will provide you with additional materials and hopefully some inspiration.
Preach or teach on Raising Micah themes... such as “missional” living, the connection between deep prayer and deep service, spiritual formation, family spirituality, the prophet Micah, or any of the Raising Micah monthly themes.
Provide you with resources, ideas, and links to help you live out the “action opportunities.”
Through our work, we have established many contacts and learned much in regards to various resources and organizations... and we are constantly learning! We are also building a “Raising Micah Library” as a way to make more resources available.
Train your children, youth, and/or family ministry teams... to be intentional in exciting, equipping, and empowering families, churches, and communities to raise children who will walk in the way of deep faith and deep action.
Lead a half-day Global Village event at your church... an event that helps children and adults understand how people live around the world, how some have more and some have less, and how we are invited to live in such a way that everyone might have enough. If you do not wish to do the “full” Global Village Experience (or live too far away for us to bring the portable village units to you), we can lead you in a variety of simulation games and experiences that deal with issues of hunger, thirst, peace-making, and team building.
Lead a family retreat or camp... the Raising Micah Team consists of former and current camp and retreat staffers with a long history in leading camp and retreat experiences. We do half-day, day, weekend, and week-long experiences. We can lead experiences more “theme-focused” around Raising Micah ideas and challenges; yet we also lead retreat experiences that help families develop a “sacred rhythm” in their lives centered on prayer, scripture, and worship... which then pours out on to how we treat our neighbor and live in the world.
Speak at ministries such as M.O.P.S or groups such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts... we are deeply centered in Jesus, but able to communicate to a wide variety of groups.
Assist your church day school or preschool in linking families, faith, and learning... we have served as “spiritual guides” on outdoor education and service events... we have trained preschool and day school staffs in the area of spiritual formation and development... we have helped link schools to deeper family discipleship...
